Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease that results in the overproduction of skin cells. The excess skin cells form raised, red patches on the skin that are often itchy and sore. Psoriasis can occur on any part of the body, but is most commonly found on the scalp, elbows, and knees. While there is no cure for psoriasis, there are a number of treatments available that can help control the symptoms.
