Enlarged Prostate

The prostate is a small gland in the male reproductive system. It helps to produce semen. The prostate may become enlarged as a man ages. This is called benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH). BPH can cause problems such as difficulty urinating. Treatment may include medications or surgery.
