Reproductive System

The reproductive system is responsible for the production of offspring in multicellular organisms. The reproductive system is composed of the male and female sex organs, which produce gametes (sperm and eggs, respectively). Gametes fuse together to form a zygote, which is the beginning of a new organism. The reproductive system also includes the structures and hormones that support reproduction.
