Herniated Disc Nerve Endings
A herniated disc is a medical condition in which a disc in the spine ruptures. This can cause the jelly-like material within the disc to leak out and press on nearby nerves, causing pain, numbness, and tingling in the arms or legs. Herniated discs are often treated with surgery, but non-surgical treatments such as physical therapy, chiropractic care, and steroid injections may also be effective.
