Esophagitis

Esophagitis is a condition that results when the esophagus becomes inflamed. This inflammation can be caused by a variety of factors, such as viral infections, acid reflux, or exposure to certain chemicals. Esophagitis can cause a variety of symptoms, including chest pain, difficulty swallowing, and regurgitation. Treatment for esophagitis depends on the underlying cause, but may include medications or surgery.
