Prostate Cancer

Prostate cancer is a malignant tumor that develops in the prostate gland, a walnut-sized organ located beneath the bladder in men. The cause of prostate cancer is unknown, but it is thought to arise from the abnormal growth of cells in the prostate. Symptoms include difficulty urinating, blood in the urine or semen, and pain in the lower back, pelvis, or hips. Prostate cancer is typically treated with surgery, radiation therapy, or hormone therapy.
