Lung Cancer

Lung cancer is a malignant tumor that forms in the tissues of the lungs, most commonly in the cells that line the air passages. The cause of most lung cancers is smoking, but other factors such as exposure to radon gas, asbestos, and air pollution may also increase the risk of developing lung cancer. Symptoms of lung cancer include coughing, chest pain, shortness of breath, and blood in the sputum.
